This Klub Halal edition we are hosting KUKII,
formerly known as Lafawndah. Kukii is a singer, composer, producer, and creative director of Egyptian & Iranian descent.

She debuted under the moniker KUKII in mid‑2024, fully embracing her connection to Cairo—and her new sound—for the 2025 launch of her debut EP Rare Baby. The title track “Rare Baby” is a fusion of Egyptian mahraganat rhythms, 90s post‑punk energy, and Middle Eastern instrumentation—an eclectic anthem filmed in Cairo that reflects her roots and artistic evolution.
