Kasumi Sobata (Toko Miura) doesn’t have any feelings of romance or attraction. At the age of 30, the topic of romance and marriage is discussed all around her, without regard to her true feelings, and she is presented with a succession of opportunities to meet people on blind dates and on arranged marriages. In the seaside provincial town where she and her friends live, there is a somewhat old-fashioned atmosphere, as if it is a matter of course for women to get married. However, Kasumi has never been able to find the motivation to enter into a relationship, and feels that people around her do not understand her lack of love.
