Waverley Library's 60th Anniversary Celebration
This year, our library celebrates a significant milestone: 60 years of serving the Waverley community.
Throughout the decades, the library has been a place where people come to learn, explore, and connect. The library has evolved considerably since its humble beginnings in 1964, starting as an annex beside the Waverley Arts School on Bondi Road, moving to the repurposed Brunswick Bowling Alley (now Officeworks) on Ebley Street in 1967, and finally settling into the purpose-built library we know and love today in 1999.
You are all invited to our celebration on Sunday 29 September 11am – 1pm.
There will be fun activities for all ages, and (most importantly) cake!
