SATURDAY

Booking details

What you need to do to get your compost:

1. Complete one online registration for your household within the Canterbury-Bankstown area.

2. Bring a printed or digital copy of your ticket with proof of your residency (both addresses must match, this could be in the form of a drivers licence, rates notice, utility bill or any other current proof of residency).

3. You MUST arrive within your allocated one-hour collection period to receive your compost.

Remember, without your ticket you will not be able to collect your compost.

To make sure everyone gets a chance to collect their compost, there is a 4 bag limit per vehicle except if you are collecting for ticket-holding pensioners or people with disability (read conditions below).

It is important to keep large stumps and any plastic bags out of our green bins to reduce contamination of the compost. When you use your green bin correctly, we can produce compost even more efficiently.

Multiple bookings and collections for others

Can I pick up compost for someone else?

If you are picking up compost for a holder of a pensioner concession card or holder of a gold card embossed with 'TPI' (Totally Permanently Incapacitated) or 'EDA' (Extreme Disablement Adjustment) that lives at a separate address, you may pick up their allocation of compost upon presentation of the relevant card and ticket with matching address. The one ticket per household limit still applies and you must have separate tickets to obtain their allocation of compost.

If you are picking up on behalf of a person that does not meet the conditions above, you must re-join the back of the line to pick up additional bags and have the relevant ticket and proof of residency on behalf of the person.

What happens if I make multiple bookings?

If there is more than one booking made for a household address, only the first booking will be valid, and any additional bookings will be cancelled. If you have multiple residences, please make separate bookings for each residence and ensure you bring proof of residency for each address that matches your ticket. You will need to join the back of the line after each collection of 4 bags unless you are collecting on behalf of a pensioner or person with a disability.
