Craft something unique and beautiful

Each student will receive a pattern to cut out their own bird pieces, stunning floral quilting fabrics to create their bird, sewing needle, cotton, stuffing and ribbon.

About the Facilitator

Amy Jones is an inner west based artist, working in a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, collage and textiles. Amy’s paintings and textile pieces have been exhibited at a number of venues, including the Hazelhurst Gallery, Chrissie Cotter gallery, Global Gallery and Mary Place. Most recently, she exhibited work in the Seed Stitch Contemporary Textiles Award, the Petite Miniatures Textile Award, and the Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design prize. Amy is a regular host of Sydney Craft Week Events and workshops across Sydney.

About the venue

There is a lift from ground level to access the Haberfield library Graham Yarroll room.
