Stefan Lohmander, MD, PhD is emeritus professor at Lund University, Sweden. His research focuses on translational and clinical aspects of osteoarthritis. He has served as Visiting/Guest Professor at universities in Denmark, UK, USA, Hong Kong and Australia.
He has served as editor-in-chief of Osteoarthritis and Cartilageand president of OARSI, and received numerous research awards and honors, including the OARSI Award for Clinical Osteoarthritis Research and the OARSI Lifetime Achievement Award.
