Are you ready for a Girl's Night Out?
We're holding a Launch Party to celebrate the birth of Women, Wealth and Wisdom.
And what better way to launch our new community that empowers women than by getting together for a night at the movies.
The silver screen has eluded most of is during the 2020 Pandemic and it's time to grab the popcorn and choc tops and be transported, inspired and entertained by the motion picture Misbehaviour.
Misbehaviour is the story of A group of women part of the Women's Liberation Movement who create a plan in order to disrupt the 1970 Miss World beauty competition in London. At that time Miss World was the most-watched TV show in the world with over 100 million viewers.
Arguing that beauty competitions objectify women, the newly formed women's liberation movement achieved overnight fame by invading the stage and disrupting the live broadcast of the competition.
“We’re not beautiful, we’re not ugly, we’re angry.” was the slogan of the Women's Liberation activists who set out to disrupt the Miss World pageant of 1970.
Their shenanigans made front-page news around the world.
When the show resumed, the result caused uproar: the winner was not the Swedish favourite but Miss Grenada, the first black woman to be crowned Miss World.
This is the movie to take every Woman young and old in your life!
