HSC Workshop: The Craft of Writing - Advanced and Standard English

Advanced and Standard Students will explore a range of reading and writing strategies that will help strengthen their writing journey. Persuasive, discursive, reflective, and imaginative writing forms will be discussed sharing insight into ways students can engage with their imaginative expression in relation to their prescribed texts.

Dianne Berios

Dianne Berios B.Ed. (Syd Uni) is an English Teacher, Private Tutor and Presenter. She has held permanent and temporary positions at a range of comprehensive high schools and private schools in NSW. She has marked the HSC in a range of questions for 10 years and is now an external Trial Exam Marker for some of Sydney’s most prestigious Catholic and Private Schools. Dianne runs Wordstudio Edit as a private tutor and specialises in Stage 6 studies. Students may have seen her speak on the English Modules/Electives at the HSC & Careers Expo.

MARRICKVILLE PAVILION AND LIBRARY is accessible by lift from both the street and ground levels. The venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. There is a hearing loop available.
