Tania Malkin creates photographic imagery, paintings, drawings and mixed media artworks, though her main art practice is Photography and is best known for her Aerial images of remote Australian landscapes.

Head in to digiDirect Sydney on May 17th to hear Tania speak to her experience working with a range of Fujifilm cameras, in-particular the GFX system, and how this system allows her to create stunning imagery.
You'll be able to use this experience to get hands on with a range of the latest Fujifilm products, talk to product experts about any techinical questons, and speak with Tania about her experiences, photography and work overall.

Drawing inspiration from the Australian outback colours and remoteness after living and working in remote locations and Northern Australia for a number of years, Tania describes an Aerial image as an illustration of the landscape in a completely different way where both photographer viewer are taken on a journey that moves between reality and the surreal.

Her most recent body of work “Ebb and Flow” explores the relationship between the elements of Nature and Life, capturing the unexpected hues and patterns where the landscape takes you on a journey of the history water in the Australian landscape and the life it creates, nurtures and ends.

Tania is highly regarded for her Aerial images and has won many awards in Australia and overseas. Most recently in 2023 she was the regional recipient of the Fujifilm GFX grant Challenge, included in the British Journal of Photography’s Female in Focus Award, was a finalist in the Sienna International Photography awards for the “Beauty of nature” Category and her image “Intricate” won the Landscape Category in the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the year.

In 2024 she was the winner of the Landscape category or the Asia Pacific Photography awards. Tania has exhibited in Solo and group exhibitions in London, Paris, New York and Shanghai and her work is included in the China Art Museum Shanghai’s private collection.
