FEAR ME WEAK MAN - EP launch party & celebration

FEAR ME WEAK MAN - EP launch party & celebration
19 October 2024
SATURDAY
3 p.m.

Princess Alanna presents her musical debut in the form of her anti-misogyny EP… FEAR ME WEAK MAN

After Alanna’s ex-partner sexually abused her during their relationship and mounted a smear campaign against her when she cut all ties; she said enough is enough. She decided to channel her rage into a diss-track, turned EP.

The EP covers topics such a feminine rage, solidarity, resistance and revenge, in a playful and joyful way. There will be no discussion of the events that lead to this EP on the night or in the lyrics (for anyone personally affected, this is a safe space).

This is a celebration as it is Alanna’s (actual) birthday on the night! An act of joyous defiance.

In the famous words of Sinead O’Connor, “and if there ever is gonna be healing, there has to be remembering’. We stifle this when society shames and silences survivors.

The EP features an iconic roast of the ‘weak man’ (titled ‘Wannabe Gangster’). Inspired by Lil’ Kim’s song, ‘Black Friday’.

‘Playing gangster since your 11 allegedly;

Selling weed for pocket money, is that what your telling me?

Most pampered little ginger nut baby you’d ever see;

Pays 50 quid a week to his ma no generosity’
