Dreams On A Plate

Experience the warmth, hospitality and culture of Afghanistan, Ukraine and Palestine with this one-night-only dining experience hosted by Kyiv Social and Plate It Forward. 

Dreams On A Plate showcases the culinary talents of migrant and refugee women, with dishes and stories prepared and served with love from each of the chef’s homelands.  

Guided by some of Sydney’s top female chefs like Bloodwood’s Claire Van Vuuren, former head chef of Raja, Ahana Dutt, and Kiln’s Isobel Whelan-Little, together these women prepare dishes that tell their own personal stories of resilience, culture and migration. 

This six-course meal will feature a vibrant and delicious mix of authentic recipes, reimagined classics and cross-cultural fusion. 

Beer, wine and soft drinks will be served throughout the evening.  

Through Plate It Forward, this event will contribute 140 meals to individuals in need. Allowing the warmth and generosity of the evening to continue on long after the last fork is put down.
