Celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024 by learning shell decorating skills with Aunty Maxine Ryan.
A respected Aboriginal elder from La Perouse, Aunty Maxine Ryan is a renowned educator and artist. She is passionate about sharing her love and knowledge of Aboriginal arts and crafts. In this workshop, you'll create your own shellwork art!
This is a free event for kids in school years K-6. Materials will be provided. Please bring an apron to protect your clothes from glue and stains.

The event is for kids in school years K-6 only.
Children in school years K-2 must have parental supervision.
Children in school years 3-6 must be signed in and out of the event by a parent/carer.
You must be a Library member to attend this event. Library membership is free and your-library-membershiptoday">span>today or at any branch during opening hours.
If you are unable to attend please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the event.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time. We are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
