Berlin’s DJ Spit has emerged in 2017 as an exciting artist with fast-mixing and multi-genre hybrid sounds which fill a void between bass, amen break, techno, house and hi-tech futuristic music, as evidenced by his recent project EXPLORERS, which investigates the protagonists and contemporary music of these subgenres in many different formats. He has curated podcasts for Dekmantel, Fabric and Crack Magazine (Mix of the Day), other sets and appearances include Resident Advisor, NTS, Rinse FM and a residency at Refuge Worldwide. He has performed at Berghain/Panorama Bar, Waterworks Festival, K41, Dekmantel and Dekmantel Selectors, Draaimolen and Pitch Festival, played b2b with heavyweights like VTSS, DJ Stingray and Sherelle and produced an EXPLORERS session for Boiler Room, among others.
