This course is open to participants who have taken a Watercolour Beginners Course that covers the basics of watercolour painting.
In this course, participants shall build on their skills as they learn more techniques of watercolour painting, working on different themes. Understanding light and colourful shadow. Practice painting Still Life Subject. Use of dry brush to create texture effect. Explore reflection with watercolour medium. To learn and practise technique of painting scenery effect. Use of brushes and related strokes for desired outcome. To learn and practise wet on wet technique. Understand how to do line and wash with Watercolour. The drawings shown here are only for illustration purpose.

3. Be able to paint different themes using watercolour
4. Deepen understanding of light and shadow of watercolouring and enhance execution skills

Watercolour Paint Set, Watercolour Paper, Water Pot, Marker Pen, Brush Set & Palate
Participants to bring the following materials to lesson:
1. 2 x containers for water
2. Pencil. 3. Eraser. 4. Newspapers
COURSE FEE:
$290 |$58 for seniors eligible for National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy*
*NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.In addition to NSA subsidy, course fee may be offset by SkillsFuture Credit (SFC).
Payment Procedure:
1) Upon registration, course participants are to make payment for the course through Brahm Centre’s Eventbrite page. This is considered as a deposit to reserve a place in the course.

3) Brahm Centre will reimburse the amount that is successfully claimed upon receipt of the funds from SFC. This procedure can take up to 12 weeks from the course end date.

Trainer Bio
Sher Ley is a graduate from the Raffles Design Institute Singapore (used to be call LASALLE International Fashion School (L.I.F.S) Singapore) and holds a NAFA Certificate in Children’s Art and Craft. With more than 10 years of teaching experience under her belt, her bubbly and jovial demeanour makes her an instant hit with all her students. Shirley’s passion for Arts goes beyond teaching in the classroom setting. She has spent more than 10 years volunteering in the art programme at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS).
