Parent & Child Event
Great weekend family activity to learn about how our food comes from mother nature. Take your kids on a journey with our garden volunteers to discover and harvest different food plants on our urban farm.
Bring an eco-bag to take home the veggies & herbs you and your family harvest from our little garden.
We are opening this experience as a pay-as-you-wish event.
If you support the initiative and would like to see more of such activities in the community, we appreciate your contribution so we can continue to fund the garden and have a pop-up playground for the children.
Our aim is for parents and children to bond and learn about nature together in this permaculture garden (we are not a farm).
Activities
Location
10 winstedt road, Blk B, S227977 (Newton) – beside The Malayan Council Restaurant Entrance
Weather
Rain or shine we will continue (unless there is lightning). Bring your child’s extra clothes, rain boots, and raincoat, we’ll just play in the water puddles if it rains. Play is serious learning for the children (and us).
Suggestions
Contribute to the pop-up playground so everyone can have more fun, some ideas on what you can bring:
