About the Programme

In this hour-long talk, explore how you can harness AI’s potential to streamline tasks and boost your everyday productivity.

We will explore:

  • How to use AI in a safe and effective manner
  • Opportunities for hands-on experience of new AI tools (participants may bring their own laptops to try out Gemini, but not mandatory).

Find out why AI literacy is important in today’s workplace through Google’s Gemini Academy.

Gemini Academy is a Google-designed skilling program dedicated to empowering diverse learners with AI literacy and the safe, effective use of Gemini. It is crafted by Google experts to provide comprehensive instruction and hands-on experience, ensuring learners can confidently navigate the world of AI and harness Gemini’s potential in streamlining tasks and boosting their productivity.

Onsite Programme/Event Administrative Information

  • All participants are required to register for a ticket. Each ticket admits 1 person only. Please present your ticket when you enter the library and the event venue.
  • Arrive 10 mins before the session commences. Seats of late attendees may be given to those in the waitlist. Walk-ins are subject to availability.
  • NLB reserves the right to deny entry to participants who do not abide by the ground rules.
  • Please note that photos and/or videos of this programme and its participants may be taken.
  • Please note that presentation slides may be available during or after the programme, depending on the programme. Where applicable, only participants who attend the programme can have access to the slides via instructions given during the programme.
  • Participants may bring their own laptops with internet connection for this programme, but it is not mandatory.

  • This programme is livestreamed on Zoom. You may access Zoom via the app or using a web browser.
  • Please ensure that you enter a valid email address as you will receive an email with the link to the online programme/event near the day of the programme/event.

About the Speaker

Dr Safdar Hussain
Artificial Intelligence Advisor
TechHalo

Dr Safdar Hussain is the AI Advisor with TechHalo, training partner of Google. He has over 23 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligences, Operational Excellence, Lean Management, and Data Strategy. Safdar obtained a PhD in the domain of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from École Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes (Rennes School of Business), France.
