Learn techniques to draw iconic Taiwan scenes, delicacies, travel images. Cultivate a passion in travel sketching.
Participants will become proficient in using pens to create various line variations, textures, shading, light and shadow effects. By delving into subjects including nature and still life participants will develop a keen eye for detail, composition, and perspective. Through this course participants will build up technical abilities, skills and imaginative expressions using pens. The drawings shown here are for illustration purpose.

$290 |$58 for seniors eligible for National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy*
*NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.
In addition to NSA subsidy, course fee may be offset by SkillsFuture Credit (SFC).
Payment Procedure:
1) Upon registration, course participants are to make payment for the course through Brahm Centre’s Eventbrite page. This is considered as a deposit to reserve a place in the course.

3) Brahm Centre will reimburse the amount that is successfully claimed upon receipt of the funds from SFC. This procedure can take up to 12 weeks from the course end date.

Trainer Profile
Koh Kuan Eng is an art teacher, illustrator and author. He illustrated and published 11 books on local dialects for children. Kuan spent 20 years in advertising before making a career switch to be a social worker and art educator. He runs support groups in the prison setting for the past 16 years and he has been teaching art for a decade. In 2023, Kuan had a solo exhibition of his illustration of his dialect books at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. Kuan shall share his passion in travel journaling.
