NEW Acrylic Painting Course (Intermediate) by Laura Soon - MP20240916APCI
16 September 2024 2 p.m.

Impasto painting is a technique where thick layers of paint are applied to the canvas or surface, creating a textured, three-dimensional effect. This method allows artists to add depth, movement, and a tactile quality to their work, often using palette knives to build up the paint. The resulting texture captures light and shadow, enhancing the visual dynamism of the artwork. Impasto is commonly associated with the bold, expressive styles of artists like Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet.

Pictures shown are for illustration purpose, and can be different from projects during this course.
