Mother's Day Floral Pressing Workshop by Fresh Off The Press

Join Fresh Off The Press and Habitat for Humanity Singapore for a fun-filled 1.5h session, where you will learn how to press flowers, make your own pressed flower frame to bring home, and learn more about Habitat for Humanity’s work in Singapore!

Proceeds from the workshop (excluding workshop expenses), will be used to support Habitat for Humanity Singapore's intensive housing intervention works with vulnerable individuals and families. Learn more about what Habitat for Humanity Singapore does here:

Each participant will be entitled to make and bring home one pressed flower frame. All materials will be provided, including a range of floating frames, pre-pressed flowers, and permanent markers if you wish to personalise your frame.

This workshop is suitable for all ages. For young children or elderly, the accompanying adult should be prepared to assist them in making the pressed flower frame, as some of the pressed flowers are small and fragile.

This workshop includes:

• Demonstration on how to press flowers with a flower press or with materials at home.
• Guided steps to make your own unique pressed flower frame.

Things to note:

• Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop for registration.
• Please bring your own bag to bring home your creation.
• You may bring a photograph if you wish to include it in your frame. The frames will be either 13x18cm or 16x16cm. We recommend a standard Polaroid size (e.g. Fuji Instax mini 5.3cm by 8.6cm). The frames can fit a photograph size up to 10.8cm by 8.6cm.
