We all know that love has the potential to bring great happiness, but all too often it seems that our close relationships bring us bouts of problems, pain and suffering. We love one another, and yet we are not always happy together. In reality, all of the problems in our relationships arise because we fail to understand the difference between love and attachment.
Pure love is a source of happiness, joy and inner peace — it never causes pain. On the other hand, the difficulties we experience in all of our relationships stem from attachment.
During this brief half-day course Buddhist Teacher, Mariana Saba will explain how we can approach our relationships from a fresh, new perspective by learning how to discriminate clearly between love and attachment. We will learn practical methods to increase our loving-kindness, which will function to draw us closer to a state of pure and lasting happiness. By doing so, we can open our hearts without fear, experience richer relationships, and a deeper, more lasting happiness.
