A wide selection of highlights from the films will be presented in this exhibition, offering an amusing window into our past. A recreation of 1980s karaoke chambers features memorable songs from the films, providing an intimate environment for visitors to experience the cheerful atmosphere on screen. In-depth analysis of the films is also offered by renowned actors and behind-the-scene filmmakers in oral history interviews, revealing the essence of Hong Kong humour by offering insights on scriptwriting, joke execution and acting techniques. The exhibition also showcases cherished posters alongside a photo-op area with a classic comedy scene as background, transporting visitors into an immersive experience of joy and mirth.
