FinTech Genesis: Hack to Impact | WIP Singapore

Last month, we were thrilled to host the ideathon, part one of our Fintech for Good series, where you generated two top ideas: Making finance fun for kids and Simplifying personal finance management. In this hackathon, you'll enjoy prototyping these exciting concepts!

Participants will collaborate in groups to brainstorm and develop innovative fintech solutions aimed at benefiting the community. Guided by a design specialist, teams will create prototypes using tools like Figma or low-code platforms. The event culminates with project presentations and judging by our expert.

Kick off the evening with networking and refreshments, followed by an inspiring masterclass, What Makes Your Solution THE Solution? by an industry design specialist. Dive into the Speed Hack for Impact, where you'll collaborate with peers to develop and pitch solutions to the above selected top two ideas which are going to be problem statements for this hackathon.

About the design specialist: 

Karen is the Principal Designer and Founder of The Leap Labs, a strategic design consultancy. With 14 years of experience implementing design thinking and human-centered strategies across Singapore, the Nordics, and London, Karen brings expertise in Strategic, Service, and UX design.
