Empowering Children with Disabilities through Sport (for Parents)

If you care for a child with disabilities or are part of a disability sport initiative, join us to learn how to encourage children with disabilities to start and stay motivated in sport. Hear from physiotherapists, parents, and representatives from ground-up groups like Playbuddies. Gain insights into the challenges and strategies for supporting independent living through sport. This session also features a networking opportunity for sports groups, volunteers, and parents to connect.

Date: 5 October 2024

Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Registration and drop-off for children by at 2:00 pm. Session starts at 2:30 pm)

Venue: Sports Hub, Kallang

Option for Participating Children: We are delighted to offer a concurrent activity session for children and youth with disabilities attending the sharing session. The session will be fully inclusive and supervised by experienced facilitators, coaches and volunteers, ensuring a safe and enjoyable time for all participants.
