Join the curators of Dare to Design: Singapore Architecture 1960s–2000s as they shed light on the buildings featured in the exhibition and the interesting stories behind their designs.
You will also get to see up close materials from the National Library and National Archives of Singapore used in the exhibition.
Dare to Design is an exhibition that highlights iconic buildings that pushed the envelope of architecture in Singapore from the 1960s to the 2000s.
Books, building plans, photographs, and more are currently being showcased at the National Library Lobby. A family-friendly display is also being featured at selected Public Libraries.
The exhibition runs from 28 November 2023 to 9 June 2024
About the Speakers
Hannah Yeo works in the National Library's Collections team, and was formerly a curator in its Exhibitions Department.
Alex Foo works in the National Library Board’s Partnership Department and was formerly a literary arts librarian.
