Attendee will learn the techniques of using colour pencils to do draft sketches, mixing of colours, shading and blending. A variety of subjects will be introduced, such as still life objects, flowers and animals. The drawings shown here are only for illustration purpose.

• Basic perspective drawings, Basics of proportion.

• Introduction to light, shadow, shading techniques.

• Blending and mixing of colours.

Bring Your Own Materials:

  • Plastic sheet for desk.
  • 30cm Ruler, 2B Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener.
  • Shawl/Sweater as you may feel cold.

Given Materials: Colour Pencils set, A4 Sketch Book.

• If you miss any session, you are allowed to proceed with the course. However, the trainer is not obligated to do a recap during the next session.

• Brahm Centre reserves the right to replace a trainer, should the trainer be unable to conduct the class due to unforeseen circumstances.

Trainer Bio:

Xiang Ling is a passionate Art Trainer who graduated from NAFA with Diploma in Fine Arts. She founded T-Art Studio and is comfortable with various mediums eg. Pencil, Charcoal, Pen, Oil and Acrylic Paint and Colour Pencil.

Aside from teaching on technical skills, she also aims to help students achieve their desired outcome with guidance by unleashing their individual strengths. Most importantly, to help each and every student find enjoyment and a sense of fulfilment in the process.
