Magically reinventing Saint-Saëns’ classic music suite, this family-friendly show draws you into a non-stop celebration of all of earth’s creatures and the power of our bodies to express who we really are

In April 2025, as part of WestK FunFest, Australian contemporary circus Circa stage a sophisticated and visually stunning physical theatre extravaganza for children big and small.

The Circa Carnival comes to town with whimsical and exuberant tales of creatures who tumble, fly, leap and spin their way through a multitude of imaginary multimedia landscapes.

Transforming the stage with large digital animations and a soundtrack that reworks and extends Saint-Saëns’ playful classical suite, Carnival of the Animals whisks you on a thrilling circus escapade where performers stun with acrobatic feats and aerial skills.

Famed for their inventiveness, precision and creativity, internationally acclaimed Circa bring the wondrous world of the animal kingdom to life in a uniquely inventive, and breathtakingly joyous, contemporary physical theatre experience.
