About the Speaker

Yit Chin Chuan joined the National Library Board in 1995 where he was a Librarian for 20 years. In 2015, he moved to the National Archives of Singapore. His experiences have placed him in the unique position of understanding the inner workings of both institutions. He currently heads the Archives Services team, which oversees the different formats of archival materials ranging from photographs, posters, maps and building plans, to private and overseas archival materials and speeches and press releases.
