After Juliet

After Juliet is playing at St Joseph's Institution International Assembly Hall on Monday the 20th of May and Tuesday the 21st of May, 2024. The SJII cast includes 20+ students led by Dr Webster, Mr Taylor and Ms Thorpe.

The play centers on Rosaline, Juliet’s cousin and Romeo’s ex-flame. Surrounding her are the many other young Capulets who live on, as well as the Montagues - Benvolio, Romeo’s best friend, and Valentine, Mercutio’s twin brother. The two sides seem polarized once more with increasing violence, need for revenge, and doomed loves in turmoil. It is up to the young people of After Juliet to decide whether the cycle of violence and prejudice will continue or will their world shift towards peace and new beginnings.

The play is approximately 1 hour in length and will begin at the following times:

Monday May 20th - 17:00 (doors open 16:30)

Tuesday May 21st - 19:00 (doors open 18:30)

This event has free-seating on a first-come-first-serve basis. There will be no refunds for ticket purchases.

The play will be performed at the SJI International Assembly Hall.

All attendees MUST show a ticket to security or the operations team at the Toa Payoh West entrance to SJI International to be allowed entry.
