In this course, participants will learn different ways of incorporating casting art materials to make a variety of objects, such as small households items and gifts on special occasions. They will learn the basic technique of handling and using these materials to create different items using molds provided. This is a fun and relaxing craft where participants will enjoy making and decorating items that are uniquely theirs.

Learning Outcome:

1. Appreciate and understand casting art craft.

2. Ability to work with snow casting powder, colour pigment, crystals.

3. Ability to create desired items using casting materials.

COURSE FEE:

$190 |$38 for seniors eligible for National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy*

*NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.

In addition to NSA subsidy, course fee may be offset by SkillsFuture Credit (SFC).

Payment Procedure:

1) Upon registration, course participants are to make payment for the course through Brahm Centre’s Eventbrite page. This is considered as a deposit to reserve a place in the course.

2) Participants have to claim with SFC before the course start date through the SkillsFuture portal, index.html

3) Brahm Centre will reimburse the amount that is successfully claimed upon receipt of the funds from SFC. This procedure can take up to 12 weeks from the course end date.

Notes:

  • Please note that payments for courses are non-refundable.
  • There are no make-up lessons if you miss any session.
  • If you miss the first session, you are allowed to proceed with the course. However, the trainer is not obligated to do a recap.
  • Brahm Centre reserves the right to replace a trainer, should the trainer be unable to conduct the class due to unforeseen circumstances.

Trainer Bio:

Jayce Yong Swee Ying is the founder of Concrete Artz, who loves to create and share techniques. Jayce believes that art is a powerful medium to communicate emotions, ideas and stories, and she encourages her participants to explore their own creativity and expression.
