In this hands-on workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the world of casting art using a variety of materials such as air-dry resin, UV resin, and Jesmonite. This multi-session series is designed for beginners to learn basic casting techniques. At the end of the 3 sessions, participants will bring back a floral coaster, a pendant that can be turned into earrings or keychains, and a terrazzo pot.

Bring Your Own Materials:

  • Plastic sheet for desk.
  • Rag or Wet tissues for cleaning, disposable gloves.
  • Shawl/Sweater as you may feel cold.

Given Materials:

  • Jesmonite and Resin (to create coaster, pendant, and pot)
  • All necessary tools, including moulds, pigments, and other accessories required to complete each project.

Schedule: Saturdays 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Notes:

• Please note that payments for courses are non-refundable, non-transferable.

• There are no make-up lessons if you miss any session.

• If you miss any session, you are allowed to proceed with the course. However, the trainer is not obligated to do a recap during the next session.

• Brahm Centre reserves the right to replace a trainer, should the trainer be unable to conduct the class due to unforeseen circumstances.

Cindy Chan is passionate about the calming and creative power of art. She believes that art not only brings peace to the mind but also keeps the mind and body nimble. Encouraging participants to express themselves through unique creations, Cindy inspires others to discover their creativity and craft one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect their individuality.

Alternate Trainer Bio:

Wenda, the founder of CHIZ and art instructor, believes in the therapeutic power of art. With a passion for creative expression, she sees crafting as a means of relaxation and a fun way to unwind. She aims to create an environment where everyone, regardless of experience, can enjoy the process of making something unique. By the end of the workshop, Wenda hopes that all her participants will walk away not only with their finished pieces but also with a newfound appreciation for the joy of crafting.
