A Musical Odyssey: Fantasies and Journeys

Step into a day of wonder with three unforgettable performances by the NUS Symphony Orchestra, NUS Chinese Orchestra, and NUS Wind Symphony. Each group will transport audiences through enchanting worlds of fantasy, history, and imagination, featuring special collaborations with primary school students.

Fringe activities will begin 1 hour before each concert at the foyer.

Each ticket admits one patron for one concert only. Patrons who wish to attend more than one concert need to purchase a ticket for each concert.

• 3pm- 3.30pm "World of Fantasy" by NUS Symphony Orchestra and Greenwood Primary School String Ensemble: Experience a magical journey with iconic pieces like Harry Potter Symphonic Suite and The Lord of the Rings as the NUS Symphony Orchestra performs alongside Greenwood Primary School String Ensemble.

• 4pm- 4.30pm "Train of Time: Homebound" by NUS Chinese Orchestra: Travel through Singapore’s rich heritage, from the charming Sisters' Island to the bustling Kreta Ayer, in a musical adventure filled with history and imagination.

• 5pm- 5.30pm "Journey Into Fantasy" by NUS Wind Symphony and St Joseph Institution Junior Brass Band : Embark on an epic voyage through fantastical realms with thrilling pieces like Kung Fu Panda Medley and My Neighbour Totoro, brought to life with the help of young musicians.

Admission Policy:

Out of respect for the participants and other spectators, no children under 3 years of age will be allowed admission.

No food and drinks are allowed in the venue
