THP PRODUCTION and club REPUBLIKA presents:
One drunken summer's eve in 2019, FOLKRIM was born almost by accident. While out drinking, the frontman of the band, Erno, wrote a song 'Santulla Saahan' as a joke with one of his then band members. From there on, the songs started to quickly accumulate and soon there were enough for an album.
FOLKRIM essentially being a one man project, some friends came together and helped with the record.The album got some positive feedback on the local scene, so FOLKRIM started work on a second one. This is also where the band was finally formed and began to plan for live shows.
Now, some years later, FOLKRIM is ready to unveil their third album "Embers", and their own unique vision on the future of the genre.
In the grim darkness of the mire you can hear the screeching of violins and witness the dancing of shadows...
FOLKRIM are spearheading forth an era of folk-infused death metal mayhem...
