Mono vs. Polyglot (Brno)

Mono vs. Polyglot (Brno)
15 October 2024
TUESDAY
6 p.m.

Join us for an evening where we will have our take on the following question: Should backend engineers embrace multiple languages, or is sticking to one the smarter approach?

Our backend engineers will share their hands-on experience with using multiple backend languages within the same solution, highlighting the benefits, challenges, and trade-offs of a polyglot approach. Whether you’re curious about optimizing performance or streamlining your tech stack, this meetup will cover it all.

Expect deep dives into topics like enhancing the performance of Node.js applications with low-level language add-ons (Rust and C++), comparing the flexibility of Node.js with the structure and reliability of Go, and even our experiments with niche backend languages like Dart. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain insights and join the conversation about the future trends in backend development.

Whether you’re a single-language advocate or a multi-language enthusiast, this meetup will give you plenty of food for thought!

Doors open at 6 p.m. and we’ll be kicking the event off promptly at 6:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to hang around until 10 p.m.
