Ever-hailing from somewhere in-between both Ostrava and Brno, Strachkvas, a solitaire producer and visual artist, has been successively building a significant local acclamation. Shortly after his extensive study period in Helsinki where he focused on sharpening both DJ and production skills, he presented his first comprehensive release on Gin&Platonic and followed by Blind Worm Variations released on the Finnish label World Canvas. His production, including contemporary IDM as well as PC game soundtracks, tend to morph into picturesque precepts of dissolved rhythms formerly to be easily recognizable. Balancing emotional cocktail of both happiness and anger.

Summer and fall in the courtyard at Petrohradská Kolektiv will be a showcase of live acts with the focus being on contemporary music production. We will present a broad variety of quality acts from the Czech alternative scene, ranging in genre from electronics, to pop, to country. Dramaturgy oversight will be handled in the fourth year by music producer, scenic and film music composer and member of music promoters collective – Wrong- Mojmir Mechura.
