After two summer outdoor open airs with trancy and housy vibes, we're returning to the roots of Komiks by organizing a proper techno night at a massive former power station. It took us almost a year to book Chlär, who is also part of Funk Assault. We’re confident that Chlär’s performance will be remarkable for people from both the old and young rave scenes. This is truly the best match we could ever think of: Chlär's Detroit-influenced techno in a venue with over a century of history.

The venue’s walls bear witness to Prague's heavy industrialization and the inception of electricity that powered our famous tram network. Part of the building once served as a tram depot, housing heavy machinery that is still present today. Over time, its purpose evolved from electricity distribution to burning oil for heating Veletržní Palác and other nearby industrial buildings.

We have big plans for the interior, including lights, a huge sound system, decorations, and an overall setting for a rave to be remembered for a long time. Since this Komiks will be rather special, we’ve decided to keep the rave going until the late hours (11 AM) and start early with a half-price bar.
