Unknown Mortal Orchestra

Unknown Mortal Orchestra (UMO) is an American rock and pop band from Portland, Oregon. The band consists of Ruban Nielson (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Kody Nielson (drums, vocals, keyboards) and Jake Portrait (bass).

Formed in 2010, UMO have released several critically acclaimed albums and EPs, including their self-titled debut, II and Multi-Love, as well as their latest album Sex & Food. Their music is a unique blend of psychedelic rock, funk and soul, drawing influence from a variety of genres.

Their live shows are renowned for their energetic performances, featuring their signature blend of guitar, bass and drums, as well as a range of synths, samples and effects. They have toured extensively throughout the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and have performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella and Primavera Sound.

On Friday, March 27th, Unknown Mortal Orchestra will be performing at the Banana Stand in Portland, Oregon. This will be the band’s first show in the city in over two years and is sure to be an unforgettable night of music.
