The Clause, an alternative adult alternative rock band, has been making waves in the music scene since its formation in 2018. Hailing from the UK, the band is comprised of four members: singer/guitarist Simon Pearce, guitarist/bassist Johnny Davis, drummer Dave Brown, and keyboard player/vocalist Nick Leighton.
The Clause has managed to stand out from their peers with their unique sound which combines elements of alternative rock, adult alternative, and pop/rock. Their debut single, ‘Highway’, was released in 2019 and quickly gained attention from music fans and critics alike. The band has since released two more singles, ‘Lights’ and ‘Crazy’, both of which have received much critical acclaim.
The Clause has been performing live shows since their formation and have recently supported acts such as The Temper Trap and The Libertines. They have also performed at festivals such as the Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.
The band is currently in the process of writing and recording their debut album, which is due for release in 2021. Fans can expect to hear a mix of high-energy rock songs and more mellow, reflective numbers.
