Stone Foundation

MUSIC BAND
Stone Foundation is a British soul band that has been making waves in the music industry since their formation in 2004. Led by songwriter and vocalist Neil Jones, the seven-piece group is known for their unique blend of rock, pop, and funk, supported by strong brass and rhythm sections.

The band's music is heavily influenced by the soul and Motown sounds of the '60s and '70s, with Jones citing artists like Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, and Marvin Gaye as his key inspirations. This influence is evident in their rhythm-heavy tracks and Jones' smooth, soulful vocals.

Stone Foundations' debut album, "Keep On Keeping On," was released in 2008 to critical acclaim. Since then, they have released six more studio albums, with their most recent, "Is Love Enough?," dropping in 2020.

Their 2017 album "Street Rituals" featured collaborations with members of The Specials, Paul Weller, and Bettye LaVette. The album was a commercial success reaching number 25 in the UK album charts, and received rave reviews from music critics.

The band has also gained a reputation for their energetic live performances, with their shows often featuring extended jams and crowd sing-alongs. They have played at some of the UK's biggest music festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude, and Caught By The River.

Stone Foundation has truly carved out a sound of their own in the current music scene, blending classic soul and funk influences with a modern rock and pop sensibility. With a growing fan base and a string of successful releases under their belt, Stone Foundation is definitely a band to watch out for.
