Static Dress is an up and coming metalcore band from Denver, Colorado. Formed in 2018, the band has quickly become a favorite among the local music scene.
Static Dress is comprised of five members, each bringing their own style and influence to the table. Lead vocalist and lyricist, Chris Jones brings strong punk and hardcore influences to the table, while guitarist Nick Gonzales brings his own brand of melodic metal. Bassist Brandon Hayman and drummer Tyler Watson bring in a heavy groove and powerful breakdowns. Finally, guitarist Kyle Schoepflin adds a unique lead guitar style, as well as helping to write the music.
Static Dress’s sound is a combination of fast and heavy metalcore, with a touch of melodic elements and punk influences. The band’s songwriting is focused on powerful riffs, strong breakdowns, and passionate lyrics. Each member brings their own unique style to the music, creating a sound that is distinctively their own.
Since their formation, Static Dress has been performing at local shows in the Denver area, and have recently released their debut EP, “The Human Condition”. With their high energy stage presence and infectious music, Static Dress is sure to be a hit at any music event.
