Scorpions

The Scorpions are a legendary German rock and pop band that have been making music since 1965. Throughout their career, the Scorpions have released more than 20 albums and sold over 100 million records worldwide.

Formed in Hanover, Germany, the Scorpions were founded by guitarist Rudolf Schenker and vocalist Klaus Meine. In the beginning, the band's sound was heavily influenced by British rock and roll as well as the emerging psychedelia of the late '60s.

In the early '70s, the Scorpions moved away from their psychedelic roots and began to incorporate hard rock and heavy metal elements into their music. This change in their sound was evident on their 1974 album "Fly to the Rainbow" which featured the hit single "Speedy's Coming".

This new direction proved to be a success and allowed the band to break through to mainstream audiences. Their hit single "Rock You Like a Hurricane" was released in 1984 and became a huge international hit. The song also helped to launch the band into superstardom and they have remained one of the most popular rock bands ever since.

The Scorpions have toured extensively throughout their career and are known for their high-energy live performances. They have played numerous festivals throughout the world and have headlined some of the biggest venues in the world.

The Scorpions continue to tour and record and remain one of the most successful and beloved rock bands of all time. If you are looking for a great night of rock and pop music, be sure to check out the Scorpions when they come to your town.
