George Dalaras is one of the most renowned and beloved Greek musicians of all time. Having started out as a folk singer in the 1960s, he has gone on to become an international star, performing and recording with some of the world’s most famous artists.

Born in Piraeus, Greece, in 1949, George Dalaras was introduced to music at a young age and began performing in local clubs and bars at the age of 13. After graduating from high school, he studied music theory, harmony, and musicology at the National Conservatory of Greece.
