East 17

East 17 is a British pop-rock band that was formed in Walthamstow, London, England in 1991. The band is known for their hit singles such as “House of Love”, “Stay Another Day”, and “It's Alright”.

The original members of East 17 included Tony Mortimer, Terry Coldwell, Brian Harvey and John Hendy. The band has gone through numerous line-up changes over the years, with the current members being Tony Mortimer, Robbie Craig, Jon Lee and Dave Collard.

East 17 released their debut album, Walthamstow, in 1993 and it was an immediate success. The album featured the hit singles “House of Love” and “Deep” and was certified triple platinum in the UK. The band's follow-up album, Steam, was released in 1994 and featured the hit single “Stay Another Day”, which was their only number one single in the UK.
