Del Water Gap is an American alternative rock artist that is quickly gaining recognition for his unique sound that blends indie rock, folk, and pop elements. Born and raised in New York City, singer and songwriter S. Holden Jaffe began his musical journey at a young age, taking violin lessons from his mother and going on to learn guitar and piano as well.
After graduating from college, Jaffe put his music career on hold to pursue a career in finance. However, in 2014, he decided to return to his passion for music and started recording and releasing his own material under the name Del Water Gap. His debut EP, "Luxe," was released in 2015 and received critical acclaim from publications such as Nylon and Pigeons & Planes.
Since then, Del Water Gap has continued to attract a growing fan base with his introspective and soulful lyrics, catchy melodies, and warm, inviting vocals.
