You are invited to join the on December 7th to learn about their amazing work mentoring Black and Latino boys towards career pathways in medicine and doctoral research (MDs and PhDs). YDP recruits young men during their freshman year of HS, and they remain in the program until college matriculation. Throughout the academic year, YDP participants attend Saturday classes, conduct health inequities research, and lead the coordination of community health clinics. During the summer months, all young men participate in a 5-week residential experience at Howard University Medical School.
After serving in Washington D.C. and Roanoke, VA, for the past 13 years, YDP is expanding to NYC! Please join us in welcoming the , YDP participants, and the Co-founders Dr. Malcolm Woodland and Dr. Torian Easterling to the NYC education community while championing their work to support a successful program launch in Fall 2025!
