WE Connect Event Celebrating Black Women Entrepreneurs in Tech

✨ As part of our Black History Month celebration, WE NYC is thrilled to host WE Connect: Celebrating Black Women Entrepreneurs in Tech. This special event honors the remarkable contributions of Black women in the tech industry, showcasing their entrepreneurial journeys, challenges, and successes in leveraging technology to drive social change.

Join us for insightful panel discussions highlighting the role of Black women in fostering innovation, breaking barriers, and building community. Connect with fellow entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and influencers in a vibrant networking environment, and discover strategies to advance inclusivity and economic empowerment in the tech space.

Host

(Women Entrepreneurs NYC) is an initiative based out of the New York City Department of Small Business Services that is dedicated to helping women start and grow their businesses. Free services are available for women entrepreneurs across the five boroughs and in multiple languages. This event is co-managed by the WE Connect portfolio of WE NYC. WE Connect offers guidance to women entrepreneurs seeking to launch new ideas and increase business by connecting them with the right resources.

Co-Host

is a workforce advancement program helping Black women elevate their careers and build wealth. Through technical training, leadership coaching, mentorship, and financial literacy, LevelUP Leaders gain the skills and support needed to succeed in underrepresented industries including Real Estate, Finance, and Technology. With a focus on professional growth, personal well-being, and wealth management, LevelUP empowers Black women to pivot and advance in their careers. Support for LevelUP is provided by the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women initiative, a ground-breaking investment to positively impact the lives of at least one million Black women by the year 2030.
