Unlocking the Archives: 50 Years of Community Development in New York City

Unlocking the Archives: 50 Years of Community Development in New York City
16 July 2024
TUESDAY
5:30 p.m.

Join ANHD to immerse yourself in stories from the community development movement in New York City. As part of our 50th anniversary, ANHD conducted dozens of interviews to understand where we’ve been, in order to inform how we move forward. Celebrate with us as we unfold those stories, listen to live oral histories from leaders of our movement, and share our own histories.

The event will feature:

  • A live, on-stage oral history of community development leaders
  • An oral history station where participants can contribute to the archive, as part of the fabric of the community development movement and New York City
  • Food from Vanessa's Dumplings
  • Beer and wine

SPEAKERS

  • Thomas Yu, Executive Director, Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE)
  • TBD
