Seaport Cinema is back! We’ve got the perfect spot ready, so head up to The Rooftop at Pier 17 for a line up of great movies throughout the season.

Date night. Family night. A hang with friends. Either way, dinner and a movie makes for a perfect summer evening. The Seaport is home to an impressive lineup of restaurants for a pre- or post-show meal, but you can also pre-purchase a gourmet picnic package to enjoy right here on The Rooftop at Pier 17.

Doors Open: 5:00pm

Movie Begins: 7:30pm

Sing: Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life's ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.

When do doors open?

Doors open at 5:00pm. You may come early, but will not be checked in until that time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Can I bring my own drinks?

NO outside beverages are allowed. There will be beverage onsite for purchase if desired.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes! Attendees are allowed to bring outside food. Please explore the Seaport website for dining and take away options nearby.

Can I enter after the movie begins at 7:30pm?

We will not allow entry once the movie begins after 7:30pm.

Will there be a chair for me to sit in?

This year, we will only have turf for seating, with chairs available ONLY for ADA qualified attendees. Please bring your own seating to ensure you are comfortable throughout the program.

Can I bring my dog?

Only licensed service animals are allowed on the rooftop. We apologize to your furry friends.

Is it rain or shine?

Unfortunately, if inclement weather, the show will be cancelled. We hope to see you at our next screening!
