Rho Centennial Homecoming

Welcome to the MIGHTY RHO Chapter's Centennial Celebration

It's been (over) 100 years in the making. On December 7th, 1923, at Columbia University, Rho Chapter was chartered by the dynamic Carlene Alexander, Mildred Randolph Foster (Barnard Student), the Harlem Renaissance artist Gwendolyn Bennett (Columbia Art Student), and Constance Willis to serve the NY Metro area. After a brief period of deactivation, the chapter was rechartered in 1986 specifically for the Columbia University community.

Since then, the chapter has continued its commitment to academic excellence and community involvement. Rho Chapter's commitment to dynamic excellence is evident by its ongoing presence, programming, and awards, such as the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Undergraduate Chapter of the Year. As the chapter celebrates the culmination of its Centennial Year, please join us for a weekend filled with cherished memories, reconnecting with sisters, and honoring our legacy.
