P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Brandon Stosuy and Rose Lazar to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their book, : a collective, multi-faceted archive and celebratory anthology exploring the reasons that we cry — and the circumstances in which we do — that captures the complexity, variety, and transformative power of tears.

Brandon and Rose will be joined in conversation by contributors Matt Berninger, lead singer & songwriter for The National; Hua Hsu, critically acclaimed and award-winning author of Stay True: A Memoir; and Jia Tolentino, New Yorker staff writer and New York Times bestselling author of Trick Mirror. After the talk, Matt, Hua, Rose, Brandon, and Jia will sign copies of .

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

has a background in fine art and printmaking, and has published a number of art books. She founded (formerly Great Lake Goods) in 2008, which is a paper and home goods line made in her studio in Brooklyn, New York. Cosmic Peace Studio started as a way for Rose to continue her love of printmaking and has turned into a world of posi vibes and lucky totems for you and your home. In 2017 she started , with Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, as a limited-edition art and music imprint and has published twenty (plus) editions and exhibited in art book fairs throughout the USA.

is the cofounder and editor in chief of . He previously worked as director of Editorial Operations at Pitchfork. Brandon curates the annual Basilica SoundScape festival in Hudson, New York, and has been a music curator at both MoMA PS1 in New York City and the Broad museum in Los Angeles and co-curates an ongoing multidisciplinary series with the artist Matthew Barney. He is the author of three books on creativity, , , , and two children’s books, and . He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children.

is a multi-disciplinary visual artist and the frontman and songwriter for the Grammy award-winning rock band and . He lives in Connecticut with his wife and daughter, and was one of the first people to talk about with Brandon and Rose.
