One Whiskey Is Not Enough: A Bottled in Bond Series

The Bottled in Bond Act of1897 was passed to ensure whiskey quality at a time when products were being adultertated and authenticity was hard to verify. Fast forward some 100+ years and the designation has retained its relevancy as some whiskey brands adopt it as a house style, while others use it to demonstrate the progroess their cradt distilleries have made.

On Saturday September, 28, spirits journalist Ted Simmons will walk guests through this historic style by tasting whiskies that adhere to it, but demonstrate key differences from one another. We will be tasting Henry Mckenna 10 year Bourbon, Jaywalk Bonded Rye, Westward Bottled in Bond American single malt, Laws Bonded Wheat whiskey, and more. Some hard to find and unreleased whiskies will be on hand as well.
